Branson Alderman Wants More Foreign Labor

Alderman Stephen Marshall and manager of Chateau on the Lake suggested journalist Gary Groman write an article in support of H2B visas at a city planning session this afternoon.
Marshall has stated in previous meetings that Branson's labor shortage demands guest workers to stay afloat.
The starting rate for McDonald's employees in Branson is $8.25. Marshall believes there are open jobs American citizens aren't interested in.
Alderman Jack Purvis contends higher rates for labor is good for Branson workers and marks the success of Branson's past economic development efforts.
