Paid "unregistered lobbyists" for the White River Valley Historical Society were rejected - the group wants to ask real questions and get real answers. The group wants to ask an official representative - with particular interest in the 100 Acre complex. Tax proponents - Branson Daily News correspondent Donna Clevenger and Ozark Mountain Newspaper correspondent Vonda Sheets are lobbying to funnel millions of dollars to the group they serve as board members on - the White River Valley Historical Society.
Currently, the 90 million dollar tax being proposed hasn't been "specifically earmarked."
