Hollister Delays Branson Area Legislation Agenda - Road to Jefferson City Halted

The Branson area lobbying strategy of a united front to Jefferson City hit the brakes yesterday as Hollister Alderman David Willard took the item off of the consent agenda.

To buy more lobbyist juice groups of elected and unelected officials of several municipal and non-profit organizations will take a unified stance in Jefferson City.

The proposed legislation asks area leaders to support a variety of policies included legislation to stop city employees from creating unions, an anti-gambling stance, sustained tourism funding and a variety of other issues.
