Plans for a winery near the Branson Hills development were brought forward to Branson city council thursday night. (Click photo above to enlarge.
The company, Branson Ridge Winery LLC, is investing over $8 million to build the facility. The facility will have an interactive exhibit and areas to host events such as weddings.
A press release stated:
Branson Ridge Winery will have a museum, an exhibition kitchen, specialty market, winery grounds, bistro, event facilities and a grocery with a circa-1930s design. Engineers for the project are Colvin Jones Davis LLC, Wells & Scaletty LLC and Anderson Engineering Inc., with land planning by Bill Yung. Nabholz Construction Co. is the general contractor for the winery, scheduled for completion in spring 2009.
The plan was approved for reccomendation by Branson's planning and zoning department and should be approved by city leaders at the end of the month.
