Branson in the fall
All last week chlorophyll escaped the grips of Branson trees and plants causing residents and tourists to sniffle before the greatest show on earth.
Cartoonist John Logan comments today about our failure to properly celebrate this "gift from God." which was the original Branson Attraction - Nature.
This week, the leaves are beginning to change colors.
The changing of the leaves is a changing of the guard for Branson's tourist population. Families are less likely to visit as children have gone back to school and senior's come in droves via tour busses to watch the spectacle.

All weekend I've been picking spots to shoot the transition. From a mountain-home retreat near Lake Taneycomo and the crumbling remnants of stairs built in 1933 leading up a bluff to Hollister's highlands I've been shooting the landscape.
