Joe Allen is running unopposed in the Democratic Primaries and will face incumbent Joe Ann Emerson(R) for Missuri's 8th District in the US House of Representatives.
Before a fund raiser last week for Attorney General Jay Nixon, Allen sat down and eagerly shared his National Rifle Association (NRA) card. He commended Missouri Senator Jack Goodman (R-29) for his work and passage of the Infamous "Castle Doctrine Bill." Allen said"

Allen is a College of the Ozarks graduate who returned to Taney County after earning his law degree from University of Oklahoma School of Law. Allen currently works at Merrell Law Firm.
Allen is 30 years old and would be the youngest person to take the seat if elected.
