Lake Taneycomo Flood of 2008

 

Branson's Engineering and Planning and Zoning departments have done a good job controlling damage caused from floods. The fishing is good, however, due to Taney County Sanitation infrasctructure the quality of the water is questionable. Reports near the College of the Ozarks of Sewage squirting from pipes into the waterways is an indication that it's probably not wise to eat them.
Over the year, we've seen the water move to the lowest levels and now the highest levels since the 1920's.
