MISSOURIANS HAVE 1 DAY TO REGISTER TO VOTE IN PRIMARIES
Tomorrow is the last day for Missourians to register for the primaries. Ron Davis of KSPR raised the question, "Will young voters register in time?".
Barrack Obama brought young voters in a magnitude unseen in previous presidential races, but can he pull the young vote in Missouri with such little time left before the primaries?
In Missouri the primaries are much like a general election. Citizens don't have to register for a party and have the choice between a democrat and republican voting card when reporting to precincts.
Citizens who have recently moved to a new address or Missourians who will be 18 years old by February 5th and have not yet registered to vote can request a voter registration card from the Missouri Secretary of State’s office or locally through a county clerk or election board office.
