Officer Andy Yarnell and Sergeant Pat Gray will receive special honors tonight during Branson's regularly scheduled Board of Alderman meeting.
The pressure couldn't have been more intense and the city responded well to a Texan murder suspect holed in at a Branson Motel on the 76 strip.
In Texas he will likely face execution but somehow, some'way Branson officials were able to give hope to a man equipped with several firearms. The incident took nearly eight hours before surrender.
