Most people try to avoid them, but seeking out the poor was the goal as the Point in Time event identified 130 of the areas homeless during a vigorous search which included weekly hotels and temporary camps in wooded areas scattered throughout Branson and Hollister.Multiple groups participated in the evet including Christian Action Ministries (CAM) and Church Army. Active members of Church Army, a local charity primarily focused on rehabilitation from drug and alcohol abuse, reported they found 130 homeless people who were subsequently given care packages.
