I'd walk a mile for a French Hen Panini.

Missouri Minimum Wage Increase - Is it Good for Servers ?

Missouri's Division of Labor standards issued a press release last week reminding business owners that minimum wate will increase 15 cents on January 1st 2008 from $6.50 to $6.65 per hour.

----Opinion----
When I first heard Missouri had a separate minimum wage for servers I was shocked. But the reality is most servers make their money off tips. Restaurants typically schedule servers based on a target percentage x's estimated sales.
Branson is relatively predictable due to the tourists cycles and an increase in hourly labor means most restaurants allocate less hours.
The increase in Branson restaurant labor cost means a lower quality of service for tourists and lower pay for Branson employees.

I'd Walk a Mile For A French Hen Panini

I did. The French hen is the newest coffeeshop for the Branson Bourgeois. The clash of male-female energy peaks in the kitchen where generously portioned paninis are served at reasonable prices.

Hilton's of Branson Executive Chef Nathan Read (Video)

Hilton's of Branson Executive Chef Nathan Read cooks two amazing dishes in 10 minutes from the Trofi, one of two restaurants he overseas in downtown Branson.
Trofi opened last week in the Branson Convention Center Hilton.

Thanks to Chef Read you no longer have to leave Branson for some good saganaki. The Mediterranean sampler is a vegetarians delight, which isn't easy to find in Branson. Best of all, the majority of items on the menu are under 10 dollars.

At the Liberty Tavern attached to the Hilton Boutique Hotel on the Branson Landing, Read recently changed the menu to hit price points palatable to more Branson tourists pocket book. Read says he changed the menu, "Without compromising quality" by adjusting portion sizes.
